The South Carolina Regional Housing Authority No. 3 (SCHRA3) offers services to improve housing stability and wellbeing. Its Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program provides rental assistance, helps with unit inspections, and ensures compliance with HUD standards. SCHRA3 also offers financial literacy education and transportation assistance for medical appointments and employment.

Through the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program, SCHRA3 helps residents work toward independence and long-term stability. SCHRA3 participates in the Moving to Work (MTW) program, where tenants are randomly selected by HUD to receive additional support. The staff partners with community organizations to meet residents’ needs.
